Lobsters, Lobsters, Lobsters

"Great news for lobster lovers. We can now get live Maine lobsters at Sidi's
Rosebank Farms Market. Per the owner, they have their own boat in Maine and overnight the lobsters down here - no middleman.  We tried them and they were some of the freshest and best tasting we have had in years.  The good news is they were only $8.95 per pound! They said they would be there during the Labor Day weekend. So, if you have a craving for lobster, give them a try."

"We too tried them, thoroughly enjoyed!  Great Value!"

"We also had them last weekend and they were fabulous! If enough people use them, they will also add steamers and other stuff."

"Got 2 of the larger lobsters Saturday and boiled them and they were
fantastic.. Thanks for the message and I'm sure many Kiawah listers
appreciate it too.  I feel sorry for those who like lobsters as they are as
good as any I had in Maine."

"I will ditto that.  We couldn’t find crabs anywhere so we picked up two on Sunday and they were fantastic!!!!"

"Great lobster.
We bought the pre-cooked (but unfrozen) lobsters, cut-out all the meat and
sautéed it in butter. Yum yum!"

This came in 5/16/14.  "I stopped by both locations (Rosebank Farms and US17/Main Road Farmers
Market) and find that lobsters are available again. Chuck at Rosebank says
that they will be there on Fridays (hours flexible, but now 2-5)and Saturdays
(late morning until they run out), but they could change in the future.
Lobsters should be available at the other location all the time, as it now
has a live tank. Pricing this year is a bit more than last, but Chuck says
that they should decline as the summer catch increases. If you don't want
to go out of the way, Chris at the Farmers Market answers on 442-9281. Maine
Line Lobster's number is 735-8959, but I've called it a few times today, and
nobody answers nor is there an answering machine. Mentioned this to Chuck,
who says that they've been having problems with their phone. Bon appetite!"
