Pizza recommendations for Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island

A week doesn't go by that my children don't request Pizza for dinner.  An for a long time it was impossible to have a pizza delivered to our home on Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island.  After a long day at the beach or pool sometimes a pizza hits the spot for everyone, especially the chef.  Here are the pizza recommendations for Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island.  There is one company that delivers pizza to Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island and it is Low Country Delivery.

"Low Country Delivery" can deliver not only pizza but any restaurant food in the Kiawah/ Seabrook Area.  So for you adults that do not want pizza again, you can add another restaurant.  It is also great when you have had a very long fun day at the beach and want to just relax, have dinner delivered and your evening is whatever you want.  Here is how it works:  Call 843-799-5585.

"They deliver locally prepared dinner from restaurants in the Kiawah and Seabrook Island area with a great delivery experience while providing our restaurant partners with the peace of mind that their food will be delivered with top-notch customer service and as it should be, fresh.

How it works:
[ ONE ] Choose a restaurant and your meal.
[ TWO ] Place your order by phone
[ THREE ] We pick up your order. All you have to do is meet your mobile waiter at the door!"

Lucky Luciano's Pizzeria is located in the Bohicket Marina right outside of Seabrook Island.  They offer New York Style pizza.  843-768-0210.  Order early in the summer.

"La Tela Pizzeria is also an excellent choice for pizza and many other delights.  It doesn't deliver but the food is good and so is the wine."  768-1951 or view the menu at the website http://latelapizzeria.com/.

"Thought I would share a recent find...As an Italian American from a family of French & Italian bread bakers in Bronx, New York, I thought I would never find the pizza I grew up with here in South Carolina,  but that has changed.  Check out Mia Pomodori, (843) 724-3560 at 212 Rutledge Avenue, downtown Charleston, where you can meet Paul DeSantis, originally from Brooklyn, who baked a most enjoyable thin crust pizza with a perfect pairing of cheese and red sauce...yes, we New Yorkers take our pizza seriously!  Buon Appetito!"

"Also, if you haven't tried New Moon Pizzeria & Pub, 789-3803 , you should!  They are next to Maria's Mexican restaurant at the corner of Maybank & River Road.  They have FABULOUS pizza!  Super thin crust, light & airy, with toppings all the way to the edge.

I haven't tried Mia Pomodori yet, but New Moon is the BEST pizza I have had since I moved to S.C. over 20 years ago."
