First Tee is Coming to Freshfield Village

First Tee of Charleston is a wonderful organization that offers beginning golf lessons for children in the area.  They teach not only golf lessons, but also life lessons.  The children learn golf as well as how to be a better person.  There are many golf courses, including our very own Oak Point, and numerous volunteers that share the love of the game with the younger generation.  Grab the children and head to Freshfields Village in August to help support First Tee of Charleston.

Come out for the SeaCoast Sports - Island Golf Green Challenge! Take a swing and try your luck (and skill) at landing on the seacoast floating green! There will be prizes as well as a chance to win a set of TaylorMade golf clubs! All profits from the challenge go to support the programs of The First Tee.

Special Note:  The Volunteers of First Tee will be at the 2012 PGA Championship August 9-12th selling PGA Programs this year at the Ocean Course.  There will be adult and youth volunteers standing out in the South Carolina Sun all day, so dig in your pockets and buy a program from a future PGA Champion.  Half of the proceeds from the programs they sell will go directly to The First Tee of Greater Charleston.
